March Photo of the day. I thought I would try my hand at this daily photo shoot. I will do my best here to get what I can with the time I have. I travel a lot, so I bought a used Pro1 to take with me as this will fit in my luggage a lot easier than my DSLR.

John (300m) > March 13: I took this shot walking today. I was wondering what to take for todays shot. I brought my little Pro1 when I went walking today. This is Old Point Comfort Lighthouse at Ft Monroe. The vignetting effect is caused by the filter attachment and hood with the lens at 24mm. 1/1250 @ f/2.8 ISO 50
I liked the vignetting effect so I used this picture for today's shot.

John (300m) > March 12: I captured this on the way home this morning. This is a shot off the Mugler bridge in Pheobus. It was sunrise about 7:15 AM. The colors were just so vivid when I looked over the bridge on my way to capture the boats that I had to take this shot. I was glad I had the Pro1 in the car to capture this shot. Broken concrete covered in moss, driftwood and the blue water made the shot for me. I was luck to be out at this hour, I was on my way home as my daughter was sick and someone had to stay with her. Sun was low and at my right elbow for this shot. 1/20 sec hand held @ f 4.0 ISO 50
John (300m) > March 11th: I shot this inside again using available light and a tripod. The amazing part to me is this lens is an 18-200 zoom and the photo is real sharp for a wide range zoom. I do not have a macro lens so this is my best for that type effort 1.6 sec @ f/ 5.6 ISO 100. I cropped the shot in lightroom to zoom into the center of the plant. The plant according to the wife is purple and fuzzy. In other words we do not know, she liked it and I bought it.
John (300m) > March 10th: Roses I bought the wife Sunday and photographed against the sunlight shining in the window behind me. 1/4 sec exposure @ f/ 5.6 iso 100 Tripod used. Shot was taken in our kitchen against the kitchen window.
