April Photo of the day. I am starting my second month on the photo of the day challange! I should actually hit 30 days here in the 2nd week. I will do my best to get a new shot every day and this month will be a challange as I will be on travel 6-11. I plan on brining my laptop with me if I can get net access I can upload some photo's each evening after class. I am going to bring my Canon Powershot Pro1 with me so wish me luck. I am enjoying this challange as this is really streching my abilties.

April 30: The stories I could tell you of days gone by.
I was out walking at lunch today when I saw this section of piling on the beach. Looks to be part of a pier or piling that probably got caught in a storm and washed up on our beach here at work. The shot seemed more to present itself to B&W so I thought I would give that a shot. I converted to monochrome and adjusted the sliders in the channel mixer in photoshop to get the contrast level I was after.
