John (300m) > Dec 24: Lighthouse ornament I took this last night as I remember this special ornament we have in a star holder and I wanted to share. My daughter picked this out when she was 6. These 2, the starfish on top, were for Daddy :) I used 2 tea light to provide the lighting. Straight from the camera. Wishing the best of the season to everyone! Happy Holidays
John (300m) > Dec 22: A reading of the Christmas Carol I took this picture right after I got home from the dentist. I figured I had better do something quick before the Novocain wore off and I was not up to anything. Major work done on the way home, I lit this in my light tent and took a few shots to capture what I wanted. Please take a moment to look at the WE CARE POSTERS PROJECT I have joined with some other fellow SmugMuggersamd we are doing this to raise money for St. Jude Hospital. ALL proceeds from these sales go to this charity. WE don't make any money on this project.
John (300m) > Dec 19: Backlit Ornament I captured this last night as a quick POD. I was late for an appointment and had not shot anything all day. :) Why is it at Christmas I always think I will catch up?? I have cards to do, more suspense's due at work and gifts to buy and wrap. Add to that the trip we took, I have and am still sick, decorating and other responsibilities and you get overload. I need a vacation from my vacation :)
John (300m) > Dec 18: Mitten's Christmas Card My little helper in writing the Christmas cards. I got the setup idea from Carolyn and Mittens decided to investigate as I was shooting. I thought the shot was cute. I took Kathleen's idea to put her name on the envelope :) Hoping today will be better as I went home after 3 hrs and slept most of the day. This crud is for the birds!
John (300m) > Nov 17: Reflective SP I took this Monday night, but as I was under the weather most of yesterday and asleep I did not take any pictures so I will use this shot. Thanks everyone for the well wishes!! I think the stuff the doc gave me is working as my head and chest feel better today and I am going to work. Kittens are sad as they had a buddy all day yesterday and a warn bed to sleep on :) I am using the couch as a tripod here. Have a great day!
John (300m) > Dec 14: Holiday Greetings: I worked on this late last night as I started doing the christmas decorations for the house and the tree last night. I got everything down and I organized the outside lights, just need to finished them today. I did the same with the inside decorations. I just need to bring the tree in for the kittens to play with. I remembered about I had no POD so I also setup my Holiday Card shot shooting from the hip. I used the candy cane plate I bought at breakfast to setup the shot. Hope you all like the picture and enjoy the remainder of the weekend
