I was out walking at lunch today when I saw this section of piling on the beach.   Looks to be part of a pier or piling that probably got caught in a storm and washed up on our beach here at work.  The shot seemed more to present itself to B&W so I thought I would give that a shot.  I converted to monochrome and adjusted the sliders in the channel mixer in photoshop to get the contrast level I was after.
